There is an excellent selection of fitness equipment but it is old (which isn't all bad) and there is not much space. It can get very cramped if there are too many people at the same time. They are doing an excellent job with what space they have but I can't give it 5 stars without some modernisation or upgrades. Not only does it have top notch equipment and staff, membership includes the indoor pool, hot tub, and trainer lead classes! I was in the area for work last year, but the fitness center I was going to close to my work had some very odd hours; thus, it didn't always work for me. I ended up finding this place not too far away, and it was great in most aspects. The facilities were clean, the gym itself had a mix of both old school and modern vibes; they had everything I needed; short and longterm memberships were reasonably priced from what I remember, and the staff were always super welcoming and friendly. My only beef at the time, again, just went back to hours of operation. I do wish they offered like a 24 hour access option, or even just stayed open a little bit longer. Still, the hours were a little better than the other gym was going to. The classes are excellent, lots of times and options to choose from, great variety and the instructors bring a ton of energy. It’s an excellent place to work out, whether you’re just getting into fitness or have been at it for years. Plenty of equipment and cardio machines, the facility is always clean and the staff are so welcoming. I highly recommend the Pembroke Fitness Centre to anyone looking for a great place to work out.
